About Us

Heroes Sports Bar and Grille opened Nov. 6, 1998 and quickly became the locals’ favorite for food, sports and fun. We were able to staff the place with the best servers and bartenders in town, a tribute to both our commitment to customer service and the leniency of the criminal justice system. Since we’ve opened, the Crimson Tide and the Boston Celtics have both returned to glory, and hell DID freeze over – the Saints won the Super Bowl!

In 2006, we opened The Royal Scam at the corner of Government and Royal just around the corner from Heroes. We have grown into downtown Mobiles favorite place for steak, seafood and spirits.

Thanks to your support, in 2011 we opened our second Heroes by the University of South Alabama. We offer the same great menu and show the same great sports.

Our sincere thanks to anyone who has ever had a burger and a beer at Heroes or a Filet at The Royal Scam. Your loyalty and support means the world to me and my staff. My special thanks to every cook, server and bartender at Heroes and The Royal Scam for their fine efforts.
